The rear axle bearings can be pushed in or out making the axle removable. The motor is held in the same way as with the First Prototype Slot Car Chassis.

The extension on the back of the slot car chassis to support the body was added because I measured the length of the slot car chassis wrong. The triangles on the front are off-cuts glued on as the original slots for the front axle were too long. Oops!
